We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Board Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the cutting-edge development of Lidwave’s coherent sensor. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you’ll be at the heart of our mission of designing and developing our next gen of electronic boards – analog, digital, and FPGA. In this role, you will work together with our Lead Electrical Engineer. Key Responsibilities: ▪ Collaborate with diverse teams (optics, software, and mechanics ) to design, define, and support our next-gen optical chip. ▪ Design electronic boards from the prototype stage to production, including schematic design and managing PCB layout design. ▪ Source electronic components by working with vendors and suppliers. ▪ Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and technologies in electronic design.
▪ Minimum 3 years of experience in Electronic Board Design. ▪ Proficiency in Orcad PCB schematic capture and PCB layout considerations. ▪ Strong understanding of signal integrity fundamentals. ▪ Hands-on experience in board bring-up and debugging hardware/firmware. Preferred Qualifications: ▪ Python scripting capabilities. ▪ Familiarity with JESD204 (protocol and board level). ▪ Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL. ▪ Experience with Intel Quartus design software
