Systems Engineer

Cielo Inertial Solutions, a leading provider of advanced inertial navigation systems for defense and international markets, is looking for a Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of IMU & INS solutions

This role is at the heart of our R&D organization, driving system architecture and end-to-end development of complex multidisciplinary products

a. Lead full lifecycle development of inertial navigation systems (IMU/INS) – from concept and requirements definition through architecture, design, integration, verification, and qualification

b. Own system-level architecture, including performance budgets, error modeling, and trade-off analysis

c. Drive multidisciplinary development across Hardware, Firmware, Software, Algorithms, Mechanics, and Production

d. Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and verification plans (V&V)

e. Lead integration activities, debugging, and root-cause analysis of complex system-level issues

f. Analyze performance and test data (lab & field), including drift, noise, thermal & dynamics effects, and calibration behavior

g. Support design reviews, documentation, and compliance with industry and military standards

h. Contribute to cost estimation, risk analysis, and design-to-cost considerations

i. Work closely with customers – from technical discussions to onsite integration and acceptance tests
