A Day in the Life
The Senior RPE Project Manager is a member of the PMO team working in the development and support of patient monitoring products. Project Managers are expected to work with other cross-functional team members to manage project activities, lead weekly meetings and have in-depth technical knowledge of the company released products. As a Senior Project Manager you will work with various departments in establishing support to released products, managing CAPA's, field issues and non-project activities.
You will lead the planning efforts and generate detailed work plans including scope, timeline, budget and resources.
You will lead cross functional team in a global organization including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Marketing to ensure projects and activities are executed according to Medtronic process.
You will lead projects from initiation to completion according to the CDP (change development project) process.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are following the process in terms of timeline, budget, scope and risks.
You will lead Released Product Support activities (Non-Project activities) to support internal and external customers.
You will work with the various groups to lead aspects of released products, including design reviews, CAPA meetings and production/service weekly meetings.
You will manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree in Engineering. Advanced degree preferred
5+ years Project Management experience in industry.
2 years Hands-on experience as a Multidisciplinary R&D Engineer.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Experience with product development in a highly regulated environment, which require rigorous documentation; Medical Devices experience preferred.
Able to work, influence and lead in a highly cross functional team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
Able to collaborate across technical and non-technical disciplines. Good team player.
