Description of responsibilities / main tasks
- Leading the development of a photonic sensor at the forefront of technology
- Design, simulate, and measure Silicon Photonics components and fully assembles systems.
- Use simulation tools to meet performance requirements and optimize system design. parameters.
- Close cooperation with academic research groups
דרישות התפקיד
Requirements:
- D. in electro-optics / Material Eng./Physics
- 3 years of practical experience in research and development of electro-optic systems
- 3 years of HO experience in the development of photonic devices: design, simulations, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing and debug
- Coding: MATLAB (must), Python (adv.)
- Photonic Simulation SW Experience: Rsoft / Comsol – advantage
- A thesis related to fiber optics and / photonic devices
- Background in control systems – an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
