A Day in the Life
As Senior Manufacturing engineer your will have the following responsibilities:
Monitor manufacturing processes at contract manufacturers using statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
Monitor production yield and perform failure investigations.
Control procedures and production for assemblies, equipment installation, processing and material handling.
Manage machines and capacity requirements according to demands.
Design and perform tests for investigations and improvements
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations governing the manufacture/service of medical devices.
Develops/reviews validation documentation related to the implementation of manufacturing and service processes.
Works closely with cross functional teams across the globe to develop/transfer processes from one facility to another.
B.Sc. in Electrical /Mechanical / Materials / Biomedical engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience,
Small / Medium Projects management experience
Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and methods such as SMT, Injection molding, CNC, Assembly.
Good communication skills with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
Team player, with experience working in a matrix organizational structure.
Proficient in both written and oral communication, in both Hebrew and English
Nice to Have
Experience with six sigma and root cause analysis
Working with contract manufacturers and/or medical devices regulations environment – an advantage
Experience in Process and Equipment qualification/validation
Experience in Solidworks
Self motivated with the ability to prioritize deliverables based upon project criticality.
