We’re looking for a hands-on optical assembly technician with exceptional precision and a sharp mind — someone who
doesn't just follow procedures but understands the logic behind them. Working closely with our engineering team, you
will assemble and test complex optical sub-assemblies that integrate photonics, electronics, and precision mechanics
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and integrate optical sub-assemblies — chip-level components, electronics, optics, and
optomechanical parts
Perform precision work under a microscope: adhesive bonding, optical alignment
Write, read and follow detailed assembly work instructions and technical drawings
Execute measurements and tests and write proprietary calibration software
Work in a cleanroom environment, maintaining strict cleanliness and ESD protocols
Document assembly processes and results and create assembly procedures. Identify issues and propose

דרישות התפקיד
5+ years of hands-on experience in optical, electro-optical, or optomechanical assembly — defense, aerospace
high-tech, or semiconductor industries
Exceptional manual dexterity and precision — comfortable working at micron-level tolerances
Ability to work independently: identify problems, troubleshooting, and find solutions
Proficiency with technical instrumentation and comfort with measurement/calibration software
Working proficiency in English — reading technical documents, communicating with suppliers
Meticulous attention to detail, cleanliness, and organized work habits
Experience with Silicon Photonics, photonic components, or laser modules
Familiarity with die attach, wire bonding, or semiconductor packaging processes
Experience in a startup or early-stage production ramp-up / NPI (New Product Introduction) environment
Familiarity with quality processes (ISO 9001, IPC standards, or equivalent)
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jerusalem, Israel
